Synthetic Mock Data Notice: All names, addresses, phone numbers, birthdates, online personas, and payment card details generated by this application are 100% fictional test data. They are dynamically generated for software testing, quality assurance, mockups, form validation, and privacy defense. They do not represent real persons or actual financial accounts.

What the App Does

Fake Name Generator is a utility tool designed for software developers, testers, designers, and privacy-conscious users to generate fictional personas and mock user profiles on demand. Features include:

Instant generation of fictional personal profiles (names, addresses, user credentials, telephone numbers, test credit card numbers, birthdates, and personas);
Custom country and gender filtering;
Temporary disposable email inbox integration powered by TempMailg to allow verification code testing and spam prevention;
Local offline profile generation using bundled datasets;
Saving favorite identities locally on your device in a private offline database;
Avatar picture generation and optional download to local device storage;
One-tap clipboard copying of individual profile fields.

Information We May Collect

We do not require you to create an account or provide real personal identification (such as your real name, personal phone number, or residential address) to use this application. Depending on how you interact with the app, the following technical or diagnostic information may be processed:

Technical and Device Information: IP address, device model, operating system version, app build version, device language, and network connectivity state. This data is used solely to route API requests, optimize content delivery, and maintain server security.
Locally Stored Data: Saved favorite profiles, custom country/gender filter preferences, and theme choices (Light / Dark mode) are stored strictly locally on your device via SQLite and private SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to share or export it.
Temporary Mailbox Data: When you generate a profile with an associated temporary email address, inbox activity is processed through TempMailg's temporary email service. Temporary messages are automatically deleted according to service retention limits.
Analytics and Diagnostics: Anonymous crash reports, stability metrics, and application usage patterns collected via Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to diagnose bugs and improve app reliability.
Advertising Identifiers: Non-personalized or contextual advertising metrics provided by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) when advertisements are displayed in the application.

Device Permissions Requested

The application requests only permissions essential for its core functionality:

INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to fetch live identity profiles, connect to the TempMailg API for temporary mailboxes, and load profile avatar images.
Storage / Media Access (Photos/Media): Used only when you tap the Download Avatar button to save a generated persona picture to your device storage or gallery. No other files on your device are read or accessed.

Third-Party Services

To provide robust functionality, stability, and advertising, this app integrates trusted third-party SDKs provided by Google. These providers may process certain technical identifiers subject to their independent privacy policies:

Clipboard Usage

The application includes convenient "Copy" buttons next to generated fields (e.g., Name, Address, Temporary Email). When you tap a copy button, the selected text is placed into your device clipboard solely at your explicit request. The app does not read, monitor, or transmit existing data from your clipboard.

Data Retention and Deletion

Since all favorite personas and user settings are stored locally on your device, you have complete control over your data:

You can delete saved profiles at any time directly from the Saved screen inside the app.
Clearing the app's cache and storage in Android Settings, or uninstalling the app, immediately and permanently deletes all locally saved identities.
For any server-related diagnostic data or temporary mail inquiries, you may submit a deletion request by emailing fakename@tempmailg.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".

Children's Privacy

Fake Name Generator is a general developer and utility tool. It is not directed at or designed for children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 18.

Security

All communications between the Fake Name Generator app and our backend servers are secured using industry-standard TLS/HTTPS encryption to prevent eavesdropping and unauthorized tampering.

Policy Changes
