Usually no. A CDN, reverse proxy, or firewall can hide the origin server, so the report may show the public edge network instead.

Yes. The tool reads public DNS and ownership information only. It does not scan ports, log in, or send requests to private network addresses.

MX records identify servers that receive email. SPF records identify providers that are allowed to send email for the domain.

Some IP ownership APIs do not return complete ASN data, or DNS may be temporarily unavailable. The IP and DNS records are still shown when possible.

DNS results are cached briefly for performance and provider lookups are cached for a limited period. Run the lookup again after a DNS or hosting migration.
